• 2009/09/25 — German Wikivoyage branch passed pagehit number 6,000,000.
• 2009/09/05 — Wikivoyage is online since 1,000 days.

• 2009/08/12 — The German language version reached the 9,000th article.

• 2009/07/15 — The Italian language branch reached the 2,000th article with New Caledonia by Gobbler
• 2009/07/06 — Italian Wikivoyage branch passed pagehit number 1,000,000.

• 2009/06/19 — Wikivoyage has got a new server with much more powerfull hardware.
• 2009/06/02 — German Wikivoyage branch passed pagehit number 5,000,000.

• 2009/04/27 — Wikivoyage Shared repository passed pagehit number 1,000,000.
• 2009/04/01 — License upgrade. All new contributions are considered to be released under any existing and future version of the CC-by-sa. Older articles can by upgradet by the decision of the authors, too.

• 2008/04/20 — The 1000th article on Italian Wikivoyage describes the Greek region of Thessaly.

• 2008/03/12 — The German language version reached the 6,500th article with Fussi's Tagatay City on March 12th.

• 2008/03/11 — With Utente:Gagliardi Wikivoyage got the 300th user.

• 2007/09/26 — de:Hauptseite passed pagehit number 1,000,000. This means an average of 3,000 pagehits per day and growing. Meanwhile 2,643 articles out of 5,443 are genuine. So the Braek Even Point will be reached soon.

• 2007/08/20 — First testversion of the German Wikivoyage for mobile phones and pda's made available by Mikesc. It contains all articles of the main namespace without pictures. It is in the Mobipocket reader format and available from here (as of: 17.August 2007, size 7.8 MB)

• 2007/08/07 — 5000 articles in our German branch. 2200th genuine new article since forking

• 2007/06/10 — 6-months’ existence of the Wikivoyage fork, 500,000th page hit

• 2007/02/12 — Wikivoyage was mentioned in a radio feature „Reisen organisieren und buchen im Internet“ of swiss radio DRS.
