These are some rules that were made by the community. These are rules concerning collaborations and making collective decisions. Rules about the writing of articles are in the Manual of style. If you have further questions or suggestions, use the Talk page of the articles.

General policy
- Our content is 100% free. You must not add copyrighted work to Wikivoyage without the express permission of the copyright holder to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike License 1.0. - For details you can take a look at Copyleft.
- The content should be fair. Please try to maintain a professional attitude towards all topics, and describe a destination in an objective way. If some place is smelly, overpriced, ugly, loud, or just plain bad, we tell it like it is. But try to be fair.
- The text should target our Goals All content you put into Wikivoyage should focus on our target to make up-to-date and reliable travel guide.
- Text and images should follow our Manual of style. The content should follow our Manual of style. Exceptions should be backed by the community.
