[edit] To do list

I have started a To do list. -- Hansm 18:15, 12 January 2007 (CET)

[edit] Thank you for checking privacy policy

Oh dear I knew I was in a hurry as well as stressed when I wrote the above article. But boy, beside the mistakes that come out of haste my spelling became terrible over the recent years. So I appreciate your work very much. Regards--Der Reisende 19:38, 15 May 2007 (CEST)

[edit] Main page French

French: Bienvenue sur Wikivoyage!

  • de: la version en langue allemande.
  • general: discussions générales indépendantes des langues.
  • shared: notre dépôt d'images et fichiers multimédia.
  • tech: détails techniques et innovations.
  • assoc: pour les membres de l'association.

  • perfect, we should implement it asap--Der Reisende 16:44, 19 July 2007 (CEST)
I added the French main page. Additionally, I need the translations for two meta tags:
Thanks. --Roland 10:18, 27 July 2007 (CEST)
Very nice :-) I would just change the last sentence a bit:
Wikivoyage, le guide de voyage indépendant et librement disponible avec des informations vastes et actuelles sur des curiosités, hôtels, restaurants, la vie nocturne et beaucoup plus.

Now the French portal page is ready. --Roland 17:39, 27 July 2007 (CEST)

[edit] Disclaimer

Hi, could you check the above page? --Der Reisende 13:15, 13 October 2007 (CEST)

Ok, had a look at it, there wasn't a lot to do. I also translated the last point (Haftungsausschluss - Nonliability) as good as I could, but I guess that we need somebody with legal knowledge to make sure the disclaimer is watertight. --Mulleflupp - Беседа 17:31, 13 October 2007 (CEST)
Allright, thank you very much. I think this should do it for the moment.--Der Reisende 08:14, 14 October 2007 (CEST)

[edit] rules

Hi, can you just check Language versions/Rules for correctness? Thank you --Der Reisende 09:44, 23 October 2007 (CEST)

You're most welcome! I had a look at it and made some changes/corrections. I also added a question on the page's discussion. --Mulleflupp - Беседа 11:24, 23 October 2007 (CEST)
Thank you very much. For being unable to speak to native speakers for a while my english lacks of smoothness.--Der Reisende 11:46, 23 October 2007 (CEST)

[edit] To do (2)

Hi, I saw your message. I have also left a message there. LukeWestwalker 11:57, 1 November 2007 (CET)

I think that for the moment the most uptodate list is de:Benutzer:Der_Reisende/Skizze_neue_Sprachversionen. After deciding on what translation you want to work, simply add a note in the list like "Ongoing translation by LukeWestwalker"; when finished, just change it into "Translation finished". This seems to me the most effective way of working, but of course other suggestions are always welcome. --Mulleflupp - Беседа 17:59, 1 November 2007 (CET)
In respect to the coordination of translations, I agree. Just one thing: The most up to date list is not on Der Reisende's user page, but on assoc:. See the posting to the de:Lounge from yesterday. -- Hansm 09:27, 2 November 2007 (CET)
Right, I had missed the remark in the lounge and the list on assoc:. If I understand this right, the best place to dress a list based on the one on assoc: would be on General:General:To Do (Hans, I suppose you meant this one in your post in the lounge as the according link doesn't lead to any existing page). I will try to sum up the current state of translations and revisions of the articles mentioned on assoc: there. --Mulleflupp - Беседа 22:45, 3 November 2007 (CET)
Ah yes, I was also wondering if we should use the temp. wiki again for translation or better net as it does not really reflect the actual state of translated articles and it might take some time to update it. --Mulleflupp - Беседа 23:31, 3 November 2007 (CET)

[edit] Templates intwiki

Why have you put interwiki links to templates: Template:PROJ Template:JUR Template:HLF Template:SHB Template:RuR Template:ADM - any special reason for that? LukeWestwalker 16:49, 10 November 2007 (CET)

There isn't a really special reason for it, but I think that it might be useful to have the gen: version of these templates with links to all the existing languages so they can be found back easily (once there are more language versions) if the user who is searching understands English and search from gen:; i.e. like this he/she can easily trace back the German, Italian, Polish, French etc. version of the concerned template. Anyway, I don't see how it could be disturbing or harmful in any way. I hope this provides a satisfactory answer to your question :-). --Mulleflupp - Беседа 18:53, 11 November 2007 (CET)
Thank you for detailed answer. I asked just in case it was for some technical purpose. May it become useful one day. LukeWestwalker 22:50, 11 November 2007 (CET)
Thank you for fixing some of the mess I forgot to look after having renamed/moved some of the templates! --Mulleflupp - Беседа 22:56, 11 November 2007 (CET)
