Welcome by me, too. I'm excited to read that you are interested in an Italian language version of Wikivoyage. So, you are the third one. In deed, there has been some discussion about language version, recently. This was also a big topic at our anual association's merbers' meeting and we have found a decision in consensus. As soon as the official protocol is published (in German) we will explain more details here in English. This won't take more than some few days. Just one thing in advance: We all want to launch other language versions and the conditions for starting non-English versions are not too hard to comply with.

Although it is possible to have user pages on shared, it's rather unusual to maintain the main user page there. General: is probably the more appropriate place. That's why I welcome you here.

Hi Gobbler,

user Unger has created an Italian starter page in shared (Shared:Pagina principale). Would be great if you guys could translate it into proper Italian! It is the same as the German/English/French pages. --Felix 16:33, 11 October 2007 (CEST)
