Roger Zedi reports about Wikivoyage in the 20 January 2007 edition of the "Zürcher Tages-Anzeiger". The 401 words long article on page 60 of the paper could be found under the headline „A collecting point for handy travel knowledge“ ("Eine Sammelstelle für praktisches Reise-Wissen"). It features a picture with the caption „Wikivoyage alreay knows a lot about New York“ ("Wikivoyage weiss schon einiges über New York"). This article does not even promise too much: „Of course, not everything has been covered yet to make it possible to plan all your journeys, but Wikivoyage reckons to be quite comprehensive in two or three years. Experience with similar projects in English speaking communities show that.“ ("Natürlich ist noch längst nicht alles so gut abgedeckt, dass man allein damit all seine Reisen planen könnte, doch rechnet Wikivoyage damit, bis in zwei, drei Jahren einigermassen umfassend zu sein, das zeigen Erfahrungen mit ähnlichen Projekten aus dem englischsprachigen Raum.")
